Katrina's Kids Project believes that the arts can help heal and bring hope to children's lives. The children who participated in the project at the Houston shelters demonstrated this.
Through their artwork, Katrina's Kids Project is bringing hope and healing to the lives of other children who were affected by hurricanes Katrina or Rita. Organizations that provide visual or performing arts programming or art therapy to children affected by these storms are eligible to apply for grants to help them in their work.
Individual children who have been affected by the hurricane may also apply for grants to cover their cost of participation in visual or performing arts programs or for art therapy.
Please contact us if you would like a grant application: grants@katrinaskidsproject.org
