Katrina's Kids Project has just begun the fundraising. Currently, we are supporting programming for 360 evacuee children in Houston, Texas attending the New Orleans West Prep Academy. With your help, we will also fund programs in other area of the Gulf Coast and provide individuals grants to evacuee children who qualify. Some example of what your donation may support are…

• $50 supports 30 minutes of art therapy for one evacuee child.
• $100 can provide five art classes for a child.
• $250 buys art supplies for an elementary age classroom for a semester.
• $500 provides private counseling for an evacuee child for one month.
• $750 supports a creative movement class for one semester.
• $1000 can provide an artistic performance - a visit by a traveling theater, dance or musical group - for a school serving evacuee children.
• $5000 can help support an after school arts program.

We are also seeking a major sponsor for the traveling art exhibit and educational programs.  Please contact us for additional information.
